Concept
Human desires has always been an interesting topic for the artist. The focal point of the painting is the apple/the desire, using the backlit to attract the attention of the viewer at first, then taking the viewer down towards the many hands that are stretching to get the apple. The choice of colours is intense, rich, saturated and vibrant to underline the intensity of the desire.
Desire Collection
Desire is series of paintings created in 2019 that focus on revealing the dream, the desire. Thinking about how many dreams have been pursued by humans and how many efforts have been done in achieving all that was desired by their hearts. This is the aim of the artist in these artworks, to highlight the strong emotions that are fuelling the desire by using bright, strong, vibrant colours that enhance the experience.
